The territory of Černovice is divided by impenetrable areas. Our concept is the zipper method, which connects the new and old Černovice with a „zipper“ of public spaces into one urban district.
The project is about a new district in Upper Czernowitz at Kamenice and its consistent connection with the existing districts of Old and New Czernowitz.
On the one hand, the city has the opportunity to build a new quality residential quarter in an exclusive location, but on the other hand, above all, the opportunity to connect the newly emerging area with today’s Černovice into a single unit and thus use the attractiveness of the site as a means to connect the residents of the wider area.
Das Gebiet von Černovice ist durch undurchdringliche Bereiche geteilt. Unser Konzept ist die Reißverschlussmethode, die das neue und das alte Černovice mit einem „Reißverschluss“ von öffentlichen Räumen zu einem Stadtteil verbindet.
Bei dem Projekt geht es um einen neuen Stadtteil in Ober-Czernowitz bei Kamenice und dessen konsequente Verbindung mit den bestehenden Stadtteilen Alt- und Neu-Czernowitz.
Die Stadt hat einerseits die Möglichkeit, ein neues hochwertiges Wohnquartier in exklusiver Lage zu errichten, andererseits aber vor allem die Chance, das neu entstehende Gebiet mit dem heutigen Černovice zu einer Einheit zu verbinden und damit die Attraktivität des Standortes als Mittel zur Anbindung der Bewohner des weiteren Umfeldes zu nutzen.
