In order to fulfill the task of „young and affordable housing“, we have based the project on the structural framework. The project idea is based on the three-pillar model.
On the one hand, we fulfill the requirement of „young living“ from the architectural point of view. The variety of floor plans and apartment sizes are adapted to the broad band of young families. Furthermore, the student housing forms an additional social component.
The general green space and communal facilities function as a recreational oasis that can be used in a variety of ways and as a communication hub.
The allowable tract depth was fully utilized with a system of interspersed maisonettes and south-facing mid-rise apartments. The remaining north side is filled with novel functions. In addition to storage spaces on the floors, there are external study rooms assigned to the apartments. These are bonus spaces in the house that can be used in a variety of ways.
Um die Aufgabenstellung „junges und kostengünstiges Wohnen“ zu erfüllen, haben wir die strukturellen Rahmenbedingungen dem Projekt zugrunde gelegt. Die Projektidee basiert auf dem Dreisäulen-Modell.
Einerseits erfüllen wir den Anspruch des „jungen Wohnens“ in architektonischer Sicht. Die Grundrissvielfalt und Wohnungsgrößen sind dem breiten Band der jungen Familien angepasst. Weiters bildet das Studentenwohnheim eine zusätzliche soziale Komponente.
Der allgemeine Grünraum und die Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen fungieren als vielfältig nutzbare Erholungsoase und als Kommunikationsdrehscheibe.
Die zulässige Trakttiefe wurde mit einem System aus durchgesteckten Maisonettewohnungen und südseitigen Mittelwohnungen voll ausgenutzt. Die verbliebene Nordseite ist mit neuartigen Funktionen gefüllt. Neben den Einlagerungsräumen in den Geschossen gibt es den Wohnungen zugeordnete, externe Arbeitszimmer. Diese sind vielfältig nutzbare Bonusflächen im Haus.
