SEEPLATZ
With transition to the main square.
A transition, a meeting zone, is created between the main square and the lake square by slightly raising the street level. This calms the current situation. The two-dimensional crossing in the street section of the transition differentiates itself via a two-tone concrete slab paving to the wider street sale. Via the zoned area, a sense of spaciousness is felt both at the square and towards the lake.
A lightweight structure of exposed concrete and wood frames the entrance to the lake promenade and also provides weather protection for the bus stop. The adjacent faceless building front is set in front of a planted level of wooden slats, thus creating a potential place to stay.
The lakeside square will be framed by these measures. Space for art is created. Dark panes embedded in concrete support the sculptures, zone the square and form a harmonious ensemble with the tree slices.
SEEPLATZ
Mit Übergang zum Hauptplatz.
Zwischen Hauptplatz und Seeplatz wird durch ein geringes Anheben des Straßenniveaus ein Übergang, eine Begegnungszone geschaffen. Diese beruhigt die derzeitige Situation. Die flächige Querung im Straßenabschnitt des Übergangs differenziert sich über einen zweifärbigen Betonplattenbelag zum weiteren Straßenverkauf. Über die zonierte Fläche wird sowohl am Platz als auch Richtung See eine Weite spürbar.
Eine leichte Konstruktion aus Sichtbeton und Holz fasst den Zugang in die Seepromenade und ist zugleich Witterungsschutz für die Bushaltestelle. Der angrenzenden gesichtslosen Gebäudefront wird eine begrünte Ebene aus Holzlamellen vorgesetzt und somit Aufenthaltspotential geschaffen.
Der Seeplatz wird durch diese Maßnahmen gefasst. Es entsteht Raum für Kunst. Dunkle in Beton eingelassene Scheiben tragen die Skulpturen, zonieren den Platz und bilden mit den Baumscheiben ein stimmiges Ensemble.
